grillmarkadurinn restaurant *reykjavik*

25 March 2014

On our last night in Iceland we had an incredible degustation plus extra dishes at Grillmarkadurinn in Reykjavik. Amazing. As usual, our last dinners in a place always stay in my mind as a special closure to that experience. Sharing this last dinner with my husband’s cousin was also special and we were so thankful for the quality time we’d spent with him.

Isn’t life lovely when you can just appreciate and enjoy?!

The presentation of the food is beautiful, as are your photographs of it. Making my mouth water!

I’m falling behind keeping up with all your Iceland loveliness. This final dinner looks delightful. Are those lava rock serving dishes? How cool is that.

This looks so amazing. The rocks are cool, the wooden planks, well all of it. The lighting is fabulous. How do you get such amazing shots. Next trip, take me along and teach me how to work that kind of magic with my camera. Thank you for sharing.

Someone hold me back. I want that whole loaf of bread and a heap of butter.

You’ve summed it up perfectly. That’s exactly how I feel about our ‘final dinners’ when travelling :)
