bondi to bronte

16 June 2013

Winter is settling in and so my consumption of hot chocolate commences. As I hold a warm mug in my hands, my thoughts return to a blissful autumn afternoon dodging rain clouds as we walked this iconic coastline. The floating, taunting blue front was heading our way and yet I was optimistic. It was well placed, for we had a picturesque walk to Bronte before the torrent swept in behind us. We took cover and enjoyed a tasty meal in a beachside cafe before enjoying a brisk and chilly walk back to Bondi.

Hi Lucent. Beautiful colours and images and what a gorgeous name for a place – Bronte. Your recent posts have been so interesting – I loved the food post and your dolphins – magical. Claire xo

Gorgeous photos! I’ve always wanted to visit Bondi and see the pool on the edge of the ocean.

All of it stunning….what a beautiful coastline walk punctuated by those storm clouds. I hadn’t heard of Bronte, thought maybe you were on some literary walk!

Oh, those beautiful blues. When you mention winter I realise how totally immersed I am in whichever season is current (summer here!) Enjoy the hot chocolate as I enjoy my ice cream…

The colour of the sky is amazing. My husband looked over my shoulder at your photos and didn’t realise it was Australia it looks more like our climate!

Beautiful! It’s always so interesting to think about the different experiences we are having at the same time of the year. As you enter winter, we near summer… Hot chocolate for you and sun tea for me. Enjoy.

Great photos! The clouds in the last and third-from-last pics are fantastic – they’re almost bulging out of the photographs!

I’ve never ever been to that part of Sydney. Goes to show you how little I’ve explored the city. The photos are simply stunning. I’m overdue for a trip back to Sydney.
