parisian memories

18 March 2013

I remember the moment my husband and I walked into our hotel room and opened the windows to the view of Notre Dame and the River Seine (partial view in second last photo). I did a happy dance. Wow! Every dollar spent was worth that view and location. What an amazing time we had exploring as many miles as our feet would carry us. Ahhh Paris, it’s so cliché, but it does have a way of igniting deep affections. Paris, along with our other favourite cities visited have altered things within our lives and hearts. I look forward to walking the city’s streets again, with a camera, my husband’s hand around mine and our senses open to more memory making.

Wow that view is amazing. Paris is magical I love sitting in the cafes in Montmartre and watching people walking by. I hope it is not too long before you and your husband are visiting there again.

Oh, Paris makes my heart sing… I’ve been a handful of times and never gotten tired of walking the streets and soaking up the beauty. Given I’m in this hemisphere, I keep hoping to get there more often, but it hasn’t happened yet…

I love Paris too. You’d almost want to not love because it’s such a cliche, but it’s just a wonderful city. I too dream of going back someday. Your photos are gorgeous, that menu board makes me want to have breakfast even though I just had dinner!

I lived in France during 2009 as an exchange student and just loved jumping on the train to Paris whenever I had some free time. Fingers crossed it isn’t too long before you can get back there again!

Hello, my friend! Such marvelous, evocative images of Paris! I do hope you can visit again soon. It’s wonderful how you get so much joy out of every second of a trip. It really comes through in the photos.

I’m sorry to be so dreadfully absent. Travel and deadlines are taking priority right now. But wishing you a lovely autumn!
