happy moments

Admiring the most colourful sunset and feeling deeper relaxation set in. Walks in the morning, afternoon and night. Jogging on the beach and feeling free from my vision impairment. My happy dog splashing in the water. Places of my childhood. Giggling so hard with my mum that we were both snorting, with wet eyes and sore stomachs. Laying by the pool watching the boats bob and dogs and families swim. Hugs with loved ones, including a dear family friend who is unflappable in facing the big C. So much fresh, colourful food to feed 32 people and half of us again the next day. Leaving the camera in the bag so as to live in the moment fully.
I gave my own photo cards and homemade lemon cordial as gifts. The bottles I ordered online were not what I was hoping for and were proclaimed to resemble urine samples with the yellow liquid in them! Ha ha, oops!
However or whatever you do or don’t celebrate, I hope you have had a wonderful few days. For us, there are now more walks ahead, our summer whole-home declutter, meals with friends, some work and a little dancing in the living room. Simultaneously typing and tapping the toes right now.

Lovely Lucent, sounds perfect. Look at that trifle…how delicious!
Don’t mind what they say about the bottles!
Sounds like you had a nice gathering with friends and family. It is quiet where we are, and a little hectic too, as we try to pack our lives into boxes and play hosts to house guests, simultaneously.
Have a great New Year

heheh – snorting, with wet eyes and sore stomachs. I know what that is like. I often get sore cheeks too from laughing too much.
