italian bikes & food *oslo*

14 March 2012

Don’t you get a buzz when you talk to someone who is passionate about something? We wandered into Giro d’Italia in House of Oslo design centre and ended up chatting with the friendly owners. We admired the bikes, pasta, coffee and olive oil they import from Italy. We also noticed they stock the hand powered machine used by our friends when making fresh pasta. If this was a local store here in Australia we would stock up on supplies and gifts regularly. I think we would also visit just to hear the enthusiasm in Dario’s voice as he spoke about quality and slow Italian food. It’s infectious.

Beautifully photographed. I love all the close-ups with their details. And I love the slow food movement. What fun to find an Italian enthusiast in Oslo. I am loving your travels.

Gorgeous images … I really must make my own pasta one day. Though I don’t really want to add anything more to the kitchen right now … it’s next on my minimalism campaign. :)
