high tea *london*
Events that bring people together from all over the world are so precious and fun. Our trip to Europe last year was organised around the wedding of J who fell for a gorgeous English girl and never came back. A few of us Aussie ladies got together for a high tea at The Chesterfield Mayfair. Just around the corner two of my friends stopped to change from street sneakers into heels. Smooth move gorgeous girls. The last photo is what happens when the street sneakers are donned again, miles walked and rain dodged to end up at a bar to meet the boys. Call it the not-so-elegant topple from the cake stand top.

Wow, such beautiful photos … and I love the practicality of your friends changing from street shoes to fancy shoes. You’ve got to love a handbag big enough to cater for all fashion requirements.
What a great adventure!
I would definitely be a shoe-changer. My days of walking for miles in heels are so over. Thank you for the peek inside that beautiful establishment.

I used to go to London during the school holidays with my Gran and we would always have high tea at various teahouses and hotels including once at The Ritz, believe it or not. We couldn’t afford to stay there but my Gran would save for months so we could afford the high teas. I love every single one of these photos. They have made me very nostalgic and happy. Thank you.
I adore high teas! This looks lovely! I am in love with those lolly jars too. I would love those in my kitchen holding lovely flours and sugars
