gift wrapped

I love the anticipation of posting a present to a friend. I stand in line at the post office excited at having loved ones to post things to around the world. All week I imagine the smile on their face as they open their letterbox. The following text, email or call from them is the best. Here are a few presents I wrapped last year…
And one I got for my 30th birthday last year.

Such a fun and beautiful presentation! There is nothing better than receiving a beautifully wrapped gift. It really shows someone cares. Sometimes it’s better than the gift itself! You should do this for a living!
These are so beautiful. I love the care you put into the wrapping of each gift. I find getting the wrapping just right, as much fun as selecting the gift. Kudos!

I absolutely love giving people gifts. I’m not sure if you know this about me, but one of my favourite things in the world is to seek out and gift just the right thing for those special people in my life. I don’t think such a skill would make a very useful addition to a job résumé, but the résumé of life counts so much more, doesn’t it?
