spring sartorial purchases

3 October 2011

The emergence of the backpack trend had me excited and I have impatiently waited its arrival in Australian shops. I like to keep my hands free for navigating, taking photos and of course, holding my husband’s hand. I love this one I picked up from Fossil. It is a men’s backpack but the size is perfect and I love the colours and slightly water resistant fabric.

There are great expectations upon these shoes. Including these, I now own 5 pairs of heels. If these ones fill the ever elusive spot of “reasonably comfortable”, I may get rid of one or two of those pairs which would satisfy the minimalist in me. With my sporting injuries, high arches and less than stellar balance due to my vision, high heels and I don’t get together very often. Sure, I’d love to be able to float about in heels, but I’m just too darn sensible/boring and choose comfort and foot health first. Toes crossed these ones work!

I am all for the backpack being back. Yes!!!! I am not a fan of the high heels either, but that heel is perfect. Really cute. ( :

Ooh, love both of these purchases. I’m also not one of those high heel stuntwomen but I love a good wedge. Thanks for some vicarious retail therapy :)

Oh, I always do flats too because I’m so conscious about foot health! You don’t want them to get injured in the long run! But I have hope for your new pair — they look comfy but stylin’.

Ohhhhhhh I love those shoes. Where did you get them? Keep me updated with the comfort level as I’m not much of a heels girl either.
