new york, we will be back

20 February 2011

Ahhh, New York New York. You stole our hearts last year in every clichéd way. But our love is true and deep. We fell for your spirit, creativity, food, urban greenery, architecture, recreational areas and your passion for living life. You resonated with us in a way that we cannot describe. My dog who loves action and stimulating environments would totally dig you too. Well, not literally. It’s ok. He’s well trained. We can’t wait to visit you again.

Should we ever live there, I think the rooftop apartment spotted on Not Your Average Ordinary will do just fine, thank you. Architects Madderlake Designs have brought together urban living, light and greenery in a way that I adore.

All of your beautiful photos just made me wildly homesick. I’m glad you loved New York so — and I really can’t wait until I get back to experience that city again. It’d only be better if I could have that rooftop apartment.
